Loqman Hakim Hospital was established in late 2008 as a private hospital in Herat. The hospital states a capacity of 100 beds and more than 160 staff, of whom around 60 are physicians across the various disciplines.
Its stated aim is to be the region’s foremost healthcare provider, offering a wide range of clinical services to a professional standard and at a price the community can reach — summed up in the hospital’s motto, an effort aiming towards a healthy society.
